What a Sweet Girl

I was looking back through some old pictures of Ella as a little baby, I just can't believe how much she has changed. She turned 9 months old yesterday. I can't believe I've been a mom for 9 months. I have no clue where the time has gone. Ella is so fantastic. Drew will probably kill me for writing this, but he came down the stairs a couple of nights ago after putting Ella to bed and said "I am so in love with my little girl." I think that is the best way to describe it, we are just so in love with our daughter. She is so much fun we just love her so much.

Spaghetti Pictures

I feel like when you look at every child's baby book, there always are pictures of them covered in spaghetti. Well, here are Ella's pictures expect it was penne pasta not spaghetti. She loved it though. She loves being able to feed herself.

Cooking with Mom

I think I was baking brownies at this moment. Don't worry mom's, the oven door was not hot, we checked!!! Ella was peering in to see if they were done yet!!!
Something smells good!!!
I had to add this one to show everyone Ella's newest feat, she stands on her own. I think the longest she has stood by herself so far is about 30 seconds or so. She loves being able to pull herself up and stand. I have a feeling she is going to take off running any day now. GULP!!!

Our Sweet Lily

We are so lucky to have such an amazing dog. Lily is so fantastic with Ella. Even after Ella pulls her ears and makes her cry, Lily keeps right on kissing Ella. The last few days I have spent many hours in the kitchen baking for Drew's company. I have absolutely loved peering into Ella and Lily's playroom to see them playing together. Ella and Lily play tug-of-war with Lily's ropes. It is absolutely fantastic. I was able to get all of my baking done while the "played." Thank goodness for Lily!!! Here's a pictures of Ella taking Lily for a walk!!!

The Next Poker Superstar!!!!

I tried to take a picture so that you could see what the onesie says, but I'm not sure if it worked. It says " Baby's First Words...All-In."

Thanks Will and Jen for the adorable onesie. Ella can't wait for the first family poker tournament. She's ready to get the party started!!!

Eating Big Girl Foods

We recently discovered that Ella loves eating everything we eat. She'll try almost anything. She loves black olives, mushrooms, pickles, avocado...pretty much anything we eat, she wants to try too.

Lily's 2nd Birthday

June 4th was Lily's second birthday. She of course had to have a fun dessert for the big day. Drew went to our favorite, TCBY!!! Lily absolutely loved it. She is the best dog ever. We just love her so much.

Ella Goes Swimming

We have the best community pool ever. They have the best "baby pool." I'm not sure who had more fun playing in the baby pool, Drew or Ella. Drew is convinced Ella is going to be an olympic swimming...we'll see how it goes.

One More Picture from St. Louis Trip

Aunt June and Ella playing the piano. Ella is quite gifted musically!!! Drew and I are so proud

Trip to St. Louis

Grandpa Moulis and Ella playing on the floor at Aunt June and Uncle Dick's house. Grandpa immediately got down on the floor to play with Ella. At this point, back in May, Ella wasn't crawling yet. She was just getting up on all four's and rocking back and forth.
Auntie Mimi and Ella at Aunt Mammy's graduation from St. Louis University Law School!!!
Aunt Mammy!!! Congratulations Mandi!!! We are so proud of you.
Meeting Ben, my cousin, who lives in San Francisco. Ella loved meeting all of her St. Louis family.

We Are Still Alive!!!

So, we've been harassed quite a bit lately for not posting. I truly apologize, but we had a death in the family...the family computer died!!! Drew's 11 year old computer finally decided to kick it. No worries though, we are up and running again. So, here are new pictures and I promise I will try to be better about updating.

More Memorial Weekend

Ella and her cousin Lucy sitting on the blanket in the backyard, watching everyone play bocce ball. Drew and I had his whole family, my parents, and our friend Brian and Meghan over on Saturday night of Memorial weekend for a b-b-q. The weather turned out to be so nice, thank goodness. I didn't know how we were going to fit all of those people in our house. We had such a nice time. Colby, Leslee and Anthony playing bocce.
Auntie Megan and Ella hanging out.
My dad, Ella and Great Marty playing on the deck.
Ella and Mommy hanging out on the deck.

Memorial Weekend

Ella's biting already, only Uncle Brian though. She was so funny with him. She just started yelling at him, it went on for a while. It was hilarious.
She's quite mouthy already...I can't imagine who she takes after???!!!
Ella loves corn on the cob...who would have thought?
She had to have her very own. I think we went through a couple of cobs of corn, they kept falling on the floor.

Our Mornings

Such a big girl, she holds her bottle now. I'm not sure if its a good thing or not. It takes a lot longer to feed her a bottle now. She loves that she can pull the bottle out of her mouth and then put it back in again.
Topless breakfast!!!

Ella Loves Pizza

So I guess Ella loves pizza now. Drew and I had pizza for dinner the other night and I let Ella have a "taste" of mine. Well she grabbed it right out of my hands and began nawing on it. She loved it.

My First Mother's Day

Playing in the yard with the family.
She is so ready to take off and start running. I think Drew and I are going to be in big trouble when the days comes that she can actually walk on her own. She's definitely going to keep us busy.

Mom and her girls!!! n

Ella's First Flight

Ella and I flew home to see grandma and grandpa Moulis in WI. She loved the leather seats!!! She had a little meltdown on the plane, the other passengers LOVED us!!!
A fun new toy grandma bought for Ella.
Eating breakfast at our favorite restaurant in Delafield, WI...the Lumber Inn. Best breakfast in town!!! Playing with Auntie Mimi.

Story Time with Nana

Ella loves reading books, well she loves have books read to her. I think Drew and I have almost all of her current books mesmerized by now. We read at all of her nap times and at bed time. I think she's going to be an voracious reader, just like her mom!!!
